Carlos Zarco, new IHCO President

Espriu Director-General Carlos Zarco was elected President of the International Health Cooperative Organisation, IHCO, on November 14, at the institution’s General Assembly held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, within the framework of the Global Conference of the International Cooperative Alliance.

Zarco will be accompanied during his mandate over the next four years by a full new Board. The elected members to make up the Board were Ricardo Lopez from Argentina as Vice President, Toshinori Ozeki from Japan as Vice President, and the members Adrian Watts from Australia and Jagdev Singh Deo from Malaysia.

New president expressed his satisfaction at being elected and stated that his priority is «to involve as many members as possible in the work of the IHCO because diversity of experiences is our richness»»
