The health sector ranking of 2016 World Co-operative Monitor includes user, producer and multistakeholder social and health cooperatives which seek to provide high-quality, cost-effective community health care and social services. Overall, data pertaining to this sector was collected for 158 co-operatives distributed in 18 countries, with a total turnover in 2014 of 36.91 billion US dollars.
Looking at the co-operatives with a turnover of over 100 million US dollars in this sector, there are 23 co-operatives.
The 2016 World Co-operative Monitor report was produced by a team of researchers at Euricse with the scientific support of a committee of international experts and scientists and made possible with the support of the organisational partners Fundación Espriu and OCB System.
