The first seminar on health co-operatives in Africa

On May 30 and 31, 2016, the first ever seminar on health co-operatives in Africa will be held in Yaoundé, Cameroun. Based on the collaboration between the Pan African Cooperative Conference, the International Summit of Cooperatives and the Centre international d’enseignement de recherché et de soins (CIRES), with the support of ICA Africa and the Geneva Health Forum, this seminar will address the question: How the cooperative model may help bridge the gap in the field of health in terms of social protection, delivery and access to medicines?

Health for Africa

The targeted audience is public health authorities, public authorities to support the cooperative development, partners and stakeholders in developing cooperatives and mutuals particularly in the health sector.
