The health sector ranking of 2015 World Co-operative Monitor includes consumer (user), producer (provider) and multistakeholder social and health cooperatives which seek to provide high-quality, cost-effective community health care and social services. Overall, data pertaining to this sector was collected for 104 co-operatives distributed in 16 countries, with a total turnover in 2013 of 36.29 billion US dollars.
Looking at the co-operatives with a turnover of over 100 million US dollars in this sector, there are 20 co-operatives distributed in 7 countries, with a total turnover of 35.18 billion US dollars.
The 2015 World Co-operative Monitor report was produced by a team of researchers at Euricse with the scientific support of a committee of international experts and scientists and made possible with the support of the organizational partners Fundación Espriu and OCB System.
